Connecting people with the waters and lands
of the Port Royal Sound Area
No matter where you travel in Beaufort County and the surrounding area, you’ll likely cross the waters of Port Royal Sound. These are some of the most pristine waters in the country. We want to keep these special waters special for generations to come. We believe raising awareness and educating residents and visitors alike about our special ecosystem is the first step.
Watch the video for a preview of the Port Royal Sound Foundation’s Maritime Center.
We opened the Maritime Center as a doorway to the journey of discovery.
